2020 Southeast Finance Conference
The Candler Hotel, Atlanta, Georgia
March 5, 2020
Explore important generative, strategic and fiduciary issues that must be addressed by every governance body if their organization is to be successful.
Larry Minnix, former President & CEO of LeadingAge will lead us through a discussion of Governance as Leadership: What Every Board Needs to Know.
Date: May 19 and 20
Larry Minnix will give our keynote address on ” The Secrets of Successful Aging”, drawn from his recently published book, HALLOWED GROUND- Stories of Successful Aging. While there is empirical research to support Larry’s “Secrets”, they are really based on stories of the lives of people he has encountered over 40 plus years, who personify successful aging and whose lives actually reveal these secrets. His hope is that you will see the seniors with whom you have the privilege to serve as exemplars of the secrets of their successful aging and that you will use these secrets as guides to your organization’s ever-evolving mission as we all try to improve care and services for the future. Larry is a storyteller whose aim is to make you laugh, cry, and THINK! Copies of his book will be available for autographing.”
